Barrington police responded to the parking lot of the County Road Dunkin Donuts at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, after a fight reportedly broke out between two 15 year-old Barrington boys.
According to police, the fight started after one of the boys bought the other a breakfast sandwich inside the restaurant. When the boy who purchased the food asked to be reimbursed, the other teenager refused to pay him back. That’s when the pushing started.
Police said the fight started inside the restaurant and spilled out into the parking lot. By the time officers arrived at the scene, one of the teenagers had reportedly fled from the parking lot on foot. Police scoured the surrounding area, but could not locate the boy.
No one was charged.
