Tiverton man charged in crank texting spree

Tuesday, April 29

After he sent allegedly threatening and vulgar text messages to his female victim — including a total of 26 such messages over a 10 hour period —  Zachary Robinson, 22, of 70 Briggs Lane, Tiverton, was charged at 12:20 p.m. with making domestic, crank or obscene calls.

Wednesday, April 30

At 11:10 p.m., Robin Correia, 47, of 156 Stafford Road, Tiverton was charged under a 6th District Court bench warrant with failure to pay fines.

Thursday, May 1

As a result of a fight, Kyle Braga, 20, of 135 Shove Street, Tiverton, was charged at 1:50 a.m. with domestic, simple assault.

After he hit a parked car and kept on driving, Stephen Fontes, 42, of 168 Hilton Street, Apt. #2FL, Tiverton, was apprehended down the street while attempting to pull into his garage, and was charged at 8:59 p.m. with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without evidence of insurance, and leaving the lane of travel.

Saturday, May 3

After he was stopped at 10 a.m. for not wearing a seat belt, Tyler Ferreira, 23, of Fall River, was charged under an affidavit and arrest warrant from another police department with heroin possession.

Sunday, May 4

After he kicked in the door of a house at 6:30 a.m. and began swinging at one of the occupants inside, in the presence of a three-year-old child and an ex-girl friend, Richard Silvia, 24, of 317 Canonicus Street, Tiverton, was charged with domestic breaking and entering, domestic vandalism, violation of a no contact order, and simple assault.

At 10:21 p.m., Deborah Silvia, 44, of 301 Bulgarmarsh Road, Apt. 65, Tiverton, was charged with disorderly conduct and cruelty to or neglect of a child. Police said she allegedly dragged a child by the child’s hoodie across the lawn, yelled and screamed at officers, and that inside her residence, that she occupied with three children, things were in disarray, with clothing, bedding, and food containers strewn about.

Monday, May 5

Nichole Ann Tripp, 28, of Fall River, was charged at 9:39 p.m. with domestic, simple assault and domestic, disorderly conduct.
