PROVIDENCE — The Attorney General’s office Monday, April 8, announced a Statewide Grand Jury had reported out a secret indictment charging Kenneth Mollicone and East Providence resident Bryan Tobey with a mortgage fraud scheme involving a house in Tiverton.
The indictments were issued Thursday, April 4.
Mr. Mollicone is charged with one count of obtaining money under false pretenses and one count of conspiracy. Mr. Tobey is charged with one count of conspiracy and one count of aiding and abetting. The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation.
Mr. Mollicone, 36, is a resident of 281 Whetsone Hill Road, Somerset, Mass. The last known address for Mr. Tobey, 49, was 544 Warren Ave.
