Manuel J. Barboza, 57, of 500 Wood St., Bristol, was charged with violating a no-contact order on June 3 after police received reports of a man lying in the road on Wood Street at about 10 p.m.
Jose A. Medina, 40, of 283 Spring St., Newport, was arrested on a Superior Court bench warrant on a charge of driving without a license. Just after midnight June 4, a caller reported a reckless driver in a green Honda who was speeding without headlights on and had run through two stop signs. Officers found the car outside a home on Murphy Avenue, where they arrested Mr. Medina.
Carolyn A. Frederick, 51, of 51 Walnut St., Tiverton, was charged with shoplifting at Stop & Shop on Metacom Avenue on June 4.
Joshua P. Landskroner, 33, of 700 Metacom Ave., Apt. 126, Warren, was charged with forgery.
Osvaldo J. Powell, 39, of 4 Center St., Apt. 1, Bristol, was charged with simple assault after a neighbor called police to Center Street.
Robert I. Cairrao, of 2 Luther St., Apt. 2, Seekonk, Mass., was charged with domestic assault on Hope Street on June 7.
Gregg Trexler, 40, of 332 State St., Bristol, was arrested on a Sixth District Court bench warrant for failure to appear after officers were called to DeWolf Tavern on Thames Street for reports of a former employee making threats. Police found Mr. Trexler walking down the street.
Eric St. Martin, 25, of 143 Arlington Ave., Warren, was arrested on a warrant and charged as a fugitive from justice at State Street Dock. He was wanted for aggravated domestic assault after allegedly attempting to strangle his girlfriend with an extension cord.
