For the second time in the last two months, a Rumstick Road home that is under construction was visited by unwanted trespassers.
According to police, a contractor working on the Rumstick Road home spotted evidence of an attempted breaking and entering on Tuesday, Jan. 27. The contractor told police that there was visible damage to a material that had been covering the front door entrance at the home.
The contractor said he believed the attempted B&E may have been perpetrated by individuals who had, a few months back, been spotted on the property.
Police investigators planned to interview the individuals who had allegedly been hanging out on the property in December. The individuals — all male Barrington teenagers — told police during earlier interviews that they had not entered the home, but had only gathered on the patio behind the home.
