The Bristol Police Department responded to the following calls between Jan. 19 and Jan. 25:
Police responded to several nuisance complaints throughout the day on Deer Run Road, Poppasquash Road, Francis Street, and two on High Street. None required further police action.
Tuesday, Jan. 20
A resident on Lugent Lane complained of construction noise before work hours at 6:30 a.m. The workers were gone when officers arrived.
Police investigated a larceny at Roger Williams University around 4:30 p.m. There was no arrest made.
A brown SUV with Connecticut plates was reportedly speeding and driving recklessly on Metacom Avenue around 6 p.m. Officers could not locate the vehicle.
A resident requested to speak to police regarding an injury she sustained during a fall on High Street. Rescue personnel also responded.

Wednesday, Jan. 21
Officers responded to a neighbor dispute on High Street, assisted with an unruly teenager on Holly Lane, responded to a nuisance complaint involving a verbal argument on Bradford Street, and investigated threats reportedly made over the phone to a student at Roger Williams University.
A woman on Fish Hawk Lane called to report hearing footsteps outside her window around 10:30 p.m. It turned out to be a deer walking by.
Thursday, Jan. 22
A small dog was reportedly left outside barking for several hours on Mt. Hope Avenue Thursday morning. Animal Control officers responded.
Officers assisted with a reckless driver complaint. The state fire marshall followed the driver from Johnston. Warren officers pulled the car over before it reached Bristol.
Friday, Jan. 23
A driver near Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School on State Street called police to turn himself in for driving through a set of school bus lights. Officers did not see him drive through the stop lights and there was no complaint filed.
A resident reported there were children climbing on the water tower on Tupelo Street. It turned out to be workers working on the tower.
A red For Ranger pickup truck was reportedly driving up and down Hopeworth Avenue, repeatedly driving through a stop signs. The truck was gone when officers arrived.
A woman reportedly passed out in her car on Franklin Street just before 5:30 p.m. Police offered assistance.
Saturday, Jan. 24
A call for a breaking and entering in progress came in from a home on Bourne Street around 1:30 a.m. But when police arrived, the complainant said he didn’t actually see anyone and did not wish to file a report.
A resident of Kane’s Way condominiums off Metacom Avenue called police around 9:30 p.m. because a man was cleaning snow off all the cars in the parking lot. The good samaritan was gone when police arrived.
Officers issued two noise complaints at homes on Bradford Street around 11:30 p.m. The noise meter registered 62 decibels, violating the 50 decibel residential limit.
Sunday, Jan. 25
A resident on Bay View Avenue complained of loud music from a neighbor’s home around 12:30 a.m. There was no noise when officers arrived.
A car was reportedly stolen sometime overnight from Wood Street. Portsmouth Police later recovered the car in that town.
Police responded to nuisance complaints on Charles Street, Poli Street, Ballou Boulevard, State Street and Goulart Avenue. Reports were filed in each case. There was no further action taken.
